To perform a facelift, the underlying muscles in the cheek and temple area are tightened to give a more youthful appearance to the face. The surgeon removes extra fat and skin from the face to tighten the structure. The results of facelift surgery are aesthetically pleasing.

The procedure takes 2 to 5 hours to perform. Traditionally, the surgeon makes an incision in front of the ear, extending upto the hairline and also behind the ear. The surgeon pulls the skin upwards, removes excess skin and fat from the face to tighten the tissues.

It is performed as an outpatient surgery which means that the patient can go home the same day. Local or general anaesthesia is used during the surgery. Mostly a facelift is combined with other procedures such as neck lift, brow lift, liposuction or forehead skin lifting. Doing so gives a complete uplift to the face. It is necessary to discuss the combined procedures with the surgeon beforehand and design the face surgeries in such a way that it gives the results as expected.

Post-surgery there will be sutures and bandage in front and behind the ear. Sutures are removed after 5 to 10 days while complete recovery may take up to 2 weeks.

The surgeons of facelift Saudi have an artistic eye and perform the surgery in such a way that there are negligible scars and none visible, so that the patients are left with young, beautiful and natural looking skin. A proper facelift can make you look up to 10 years younger.
